Private Chef Experience Made Our Special Day Even More Memorable
When the most common compliment after your wedding is how good the food was, you know you made the right decision. We recently hosted an intimate ceremony with 9 guests in the Haliburton Highlands based on a recommendation and are so incredibly happy we connected with Chef Andrey. He and Vasily were absolutely incredible.
The collaboration on the menu felt very personal and professional – the care and caution taken to create custom options which catered to individuals with multiple dietary restrictions (not preferences) without compromising the experience seemed daunting, but Chef handled with ease.
From the appetizer service with cocktail hour, to an incredible family style seated dinner, finished with a lovely dessert – every bite was incredibly flavourful, fresh and, expertly prepared. One standout was definitely the ceviche, which won over those who aren’t the biggest seafood fans. As well as the lamb skewers, the risotto, the ribeye steaks. Really the whole meal as every dish was somebody’s favourite.
The point is, don’t miss out on Chef Andrey’s cuisine.
Our family was delighted by both the warm and friendly banter of Andrey and Vasily, which just made the whole day even more fun. But also how they (almost) literally let us into the kitchen, sharing stories about our dishes and being active participants of our celebration, while also adapting to changing schedules and unplanned dance moments.
My partner and I are beyond grateful to Chef Andrey and Vasily for helping create some of the best moments of our favourite day ever. We cannot recommend them enough for whatever you’re planning, and hope you don’t have something planned for the next time we eat with ThinkOfFood.
